Obesity is an important disorder associated to a certain number of potentially serious diseases such as diabetes beginning at the adulthood and different cardiac disorders.

The assumption of responsibility of weight excess exceeds the problem of esthetics, it is a real medical problem.

The development of a non toxic food supplement based on plants, which would help patients to lose weight, appeared very important to us.

There are many reasons for obesity (non-exhaustive):

  • Uncontroled food excesses.
  • Physical inactivity.
  • Heredity.
  • Endocrinal problems.
  • Disturbance of the nerve centres which control food and satiety.

The correct proportioning and the authentification of each active and component were established by the laboratory of quality control of the manufacturer.


187 subjects in ambulatory were included in the test by several specialists, who exercise in town. All the subjects were at least 20% over their ideal corporal weight, as defined by the recommendations of the tables published by life insurance companies.

At the beginning of the study, they had a stable weight and none of them received medicines in order to decrease their weight. All of them were healthy.
The treatment lasted from 1,5 month to 6 months and the patients were examined every four weeks. They all followed a balanced diet (around 2000-2200 kcal for women and 2300-2500 kcal for men), without any particular restriction (balanced intake of course: of carbohydrates (60%), lipids (15%) and proteins (25%)).

During the visits, their corporal weight, their blood pressure, and other clinical tests were done. Only 184 subjects could be followed during the whole study, the three patients, who were not seen again, did not give explanation.
The intake of the product was done at a rate of one table-spoon before the meals (2 tablespoons per subject whose weight was either very high compared to the norm, or settled for more than 5 years).

Subjective results such as:

  • the appetite at the time of the meal.
  • the feeling of lightness.
  • the breathlessness.
  • the flat belly.
  • the liveliness.

were individually noted, by subjective evaluation of the patients noted from 0 to 5.
